Game Notes
All divisions have to start the game on their campaign orders.   The corps commander can change those orders immediately, but the divisional commander can only change them to Halt.

The French were fortunate that their leading division moved first, and that the corps commander was marching with them, and were therefore able to change their cavalry from column of march to line.   Otherwise they would not have been able to defend themselves if attacked.

Both sides have made use of multiple moves whilst more than 16” from the nearest enemy

9th Russian division starts the game moving on the hill, which is at half speed.  The divisional commander may move them down to the valley after Move 1.
